Emily earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
Before becoming an SLP, she spent five years working in special education, where she discovered her passion for helping children communicate and connect. She has since gained experience across a variety of clinical and school-based settings, supporting children with speech and language delays, articulation needs, autism spectrum disorder, social communication challenges, AAC use, and literacy development.
She enjoys creating engaging, child-centered therapy sessions that build confidence, celebrate each child’s strengths, and make learning fun. Pretend play is one of her favorite tools to help children develop meaningful communication skills.
Outside of work, she loves Thai food, has two cats (Mira and Wren) and a mini goldendoodle named Maple.
