Chelsea Ouellette, MS, OTR/L, is a full-time occupational therapist at StoreySmith. She graduated from Husson University in 2023 and 2024 in Bangor, ME. She has always has a deep passion to work in the pediatric world and enjoys working with kids who have Autism Spectrum Disorder. Before getting her master’s degree, Chelsea worked at a daycare during COVID-19 and then began to work with an adult client who has a severe traumatic brain injury for one year. Chelsea is originally from Aroostook County and was a camp facilitator at Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp from 2015-2021. At camps she enjoyed teaching middle school students about leadership skills as well as team building skills. She had the opportunity to complete a fieldwork at Northern Light Health Acadia Hospital during their summer treatment program and worked with a variety to children on self-regulation, coping skills, sensory integration, and overall executive functioning skills. During her second fieldwork, she was in an outpatient orthopedic and neurorehab clinic. Additionally, she has worked as an occupational therapist at an Applied Behavioral Analysis Program, K-12 school with students with AutIsm Spectrum Disorder from ages 6-19. Chelsea is excited to grow her therapeutic skill set as well as help kids improve their independence and skills through client-centered activities. Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys cooking, baking, participating in crafts, coloring, crocheting, painting, and spending time with her friends and family.
