Marisa graduated from University of New England with a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Shortly after graduation Marisa worked in Massachusetts in the intensive model of pediatric therapy working with children with genetic disorders as well as a variety of neuromuscular diagnoses. Since then she has gained additional experience in the schools setting as well as treating a variety of orthopedic pediatric conditions in the outpatient setting. Ever since entering PT school, Marisa knew she had a passion for pediatrics following the footsteps of her Mom who is a pediatric speech language pathologist. In her free time you can find Marisa planning her next Disney trip, skiing, enjoying time with her family at Moosehead Lake, or relaxing on the beach with a good book in hand!
